How To Lay Your Easter Table 🐇
Curate your Easter table with my simple five-step guide. Bring the joy of spring home with our Easter collection. ![]()
1. Start with your Table Linen
It is said that people stay longer when a table has a cloth on it. At Easter I veer towards pastels & florals for my base. Once you have chosen your base layer Tablecloth, then it is easy to layer it with your placemats & napkins.
2. Light Up Your Table
Lighting sets the mood, especially for a long Easter lunch or early evening dinner. I like to use soft candlelight mixed with our Rechargeable Lamps down the centre of the table. If you're dining outside, Rechargeable's are a must & can create a magical atmosphere. 3. Choose Your Decorations
This is the moment to have some fun. At Easter, I love to go a bit whimsical—bunnies tucked between bowls, Rattan Hot Air Balloons filled with fresh flowers & some sweet fluffy chicks. At Mrs. Alice, more is more, so don’t be afraid to mix textures, colours, and heights for that layered, enchanting look.
4. Add Your Crockery & Glassware
Now it’s time to bring out your prettiest plates and favourite glasses. I usually choose crockery that complements my tablecloth—floral, scalloped edges or coloured rims work beautifully. For glassware, I love mixing coloured water glasses with classic crystal. It’s all about creating a setting that feels both elegant and welcoming.
5. Flowers
Where to begin? Years ago I’d be too scared to mix variety and colour yet now I do this as much as I can. I love a peony with a dahlia, the combination of long foxgloves and little tulips or just go for a simple daffodil and a daisy. You basically can’t go wrong. When arranging your vases I think height is crucial so I try and have a mix of small and tall bud vases. If you’re thinking real drama I love a high floral arrangement in the centre of your table to wow your guests. ![]()
