Gold Glitter Crackers With Brown Velvet Bows (Set of 6)

Gilded crackers tied with chocolate velvet bows, laid at each place like a row of wrapped treasures waiting for the pudding course. They shimmer under candlelight with old-fashioned glamour, and the brown velvet gives them a rich, woodland warmth that suits a country house Christmas. Then the great British ritual begins: the snap, the paper crowns and the jokes nobody admits to laughing at.
